Re-engineering of a tiny loft hatch to enable a folding timber loft ladder to be fitted.

The original loft access was very small limiting what could be stored in the loft and making access very difficult.

​

The access was enlarged and braced and a beautiful timber folding ladder installed complete with a handrail for safety.

A new back gate was required to increase security at the property.

​

We designed a rounded top; solid wood gate fitted with a Yale lock and stained it in a rich mahogany colour to match the house brickwork.

​

The bottom gap was reduced and an anti-climb system fitted to the top.

Automatic sensor operated LED kitchen lighting.

​

The LED lighting comes on automatically (at night) when the room is entered, eliminating the need to manually switch the lights on/off. After a custom set period of time, they turn off.

​

The system is operated by a remote sensor fitted in the ceiling.
